Fairytales come to life through imaginary play and a background of nature-inspired design. The magic continues during Week 2 – cooking up delightful treats for the Enchanted Woodland Party. SCHOOL AGE CAMPERS Spend a tree-mendous time exploring the wee folk of the forest. Use bark, twigs, clay and other elements of nature to design a fairy garden, hobbit habitat or gnome home. YOUNG SCRAMBLER, SCRAMBLER & PRESCHOOL CAMPERS Dig in and explore dirt! Learn about worms, ants, beetles and other insects hidden in garden soil. Plant and tend to flowers and vegetables in the gardens. Create a plantable pot out of newspaper and watch your own seedling grow! During Week 2 Meet the friendliest bug in the garden – a ladybug! Examine live ladybugs up-close before they are set free. Celebrate this gentle insect with inspired art activities, stories and games. SCHOOL AGE CAMPERS Dragonflies, beetles and spiders, oh my! Explore the garden ecosystem examining these amazing predators that help protect our gardens from pests. Create a garden mosaic inspired by your favorite insect. During Week 2 find out what’s all the buzz about? Bees! We’ll take a close look at these important pollinators and learn why we need to protect these mighty creatures. Learn the science behind pollination, honey making, beeswax, bee vision, and the waggle dance! |

YOUNG SCRAMBLER, SCRAMBLER & PRESCHOOL CAMPERS Discover rocks of all shapes, sizes and colors. Have fun collecting, experimenting and building with different types of rocks. Make and paint your very own rock sculpture! Pan for “diamonds”, make a delicious science experiment – your very own rock candy, make friends with a pet rock, and discover all the nooks and crannies in rocks with water play. SCHOOL AGE CAMPERS A Jello earthquake? Earth’s layers in a pudding cup? A Pop Rocks volcano? Indulge in sweet treats as you experiment and learn all about rocks! Explore rocks through art and design. Make your own rocks, learn how to make buildable rock slime and craft a clay and rock funny face. |
