Golden Pond Summer Camp is in full swing and campers are all smiles! Children ages 2-9 are enjoying their summer adventures, field trips and themed projects.
Preschool campers are On the Move discovering stars, sand, pirates, mermaids, dinosaurs and more! In-House field trips have been very exciting. The Beale Street Puppets joined us for a Out of Orbit show, a pirate brought live animals including an alligator and Mad Science of Washington introduced campers to air and pressure while giving a spell-binding show!
School Age campers are taking a Journey Through Time exploring ancient Egypt, the Wild West, the Ice Age plus more STEM adventures with inventions and Treasure Hunting. Field trips to a planetarium show, Udvar-Hazy Space Center, Roller Skating Rink, Gem mining at Great Country Farms and new playgrounds are keeping campers busy and happy!
Our popular Reading Camp is helping build brains through engaging activities. Campers are solving a mystery this week while strengthening their reading skills. Art Camp is a highlight of the Summer and a camper favorite. Sculptures, paintings, marble-dye t-shirts plus a nature walk to sketch the outdoors has campers asking to come back next year already!
