Kindergarten Presentations

We are SO proud of our Kindergarten students and have to share the excitement! The Robin and Owl students each researched an Underground Animal. They read books, asked questions, took notes and compiled their findings on large posters. They drew pictures of their animal, painted examples of their burrows, sculpted figures of their animal and then presented and oral report to their classmates. The students used presenter voices, pointed to their facts, answered questions from the class and beamed with pride when they were finished. A student told their teacher, Mrs. Sestak, “I was so nervous at first, but it felt so good when I was done!” Our GPS Kindergarten students will have the confidence and skills to excel when they move on to First Grade! Great job Robins and Owls!
