The Junior Kindergarten classrooms went on a bird watching walking field trip to look for cardinals, robins, red-winged blackbirds, mallards, geese and of course (golden) ducks! Students came prepared with their self-made binoculars and clipboards to record their findings. Back in the classroom they will review and discuss their observations and graph their data. We have lots of future scientists in our school!
Junior Kindergarten is for children 5 years old by February 28th and is available from 8:10am until 11:10am, 1:15 with the addition of Lunch Bunch or the Extended JK program or 6pm with the addition of the Preschool Enrichment Program. JK is an exceptional class built to give children the confidence they need to thrive in Kindergarten and a schedule that works for all parents.
