Golden Pond makes a difference in Guatemala

Rachel Simmons (daughter of our preschool and extended school teacher, Mrs. Simmons), a college sophomore, went on her second mission trip to Guatemala this summer. She asked GPS to donate school supplies and sent the following note and photos below.

Dear Golden Pond Staff,
Thank you SO much for all the school supplies you donated to my mission trip. I was blown away by your generosity and by the amount of supplies you gave me. The missionary family I worked with absolutely loved all the supplies, and was very grateful. The kids in the village loved the supplies as well; they enjoyed the watercolor paints the most! I can’t thank you and your school enough for what you donated; it was wonderful and very much appreciated. Thank you again,
