👏 Congratulations to Mrs. Kathy Sestak, the Golden Pond School 2023 Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Sestak is the Kindergarten Lead Teacher and was chosen by our staff to represent GPS. Teacher of the Year standards are high, and the teacher must meet specific criteria for this recognition. Mrs. Sestak is a shining example of a wonderful teacher and supportive coworker. With 22+ years of experience we were lucky she joined the GPS team 15 years ago and her dedication to early childhood education and development is admirable. We know just how special Mrs. Sestak is and we are so excited that everyone else now knows it too! Thank you to Mrs. Horton, 2022 Teacher of the Year, for passing her crown to Mrs. Sestak!
