Kindergarten was a breeze thanks to the great foundation set by GPS. He walked in the kindergarten doors already a reader and with a great passion for it. His love for Mo Willems (One of the Junior Kindergarten themes) continues on through the First Grade and to this day he still talks about his deep desire to meet Mr. Willems. When asked why he would like to meet him he says: “Because I want to tell him how much I love all his books, and I want to ask him how I can become a writer and illustrator just like him when I grow up.” Need I say more?
He is excelling academically, and confident in everything he does, and has developed quite a love and talent for music, art and science – and all subjects continue to be exciting for him. I’ve always said that GPS helped our son to gain his wings and he is most definitely soaring.
