The Golden Pond School Parent Group is a dynamic partnership between an impressive group of parents and teachers designed to enhance the educational experience of our children. By working together, we enhance the children’s early years by teaching them about giving back to our community through various charitable events, helping them foster a sense of community within the school through social events and showing appreciation to the school staff.

MEETINGS
The Parent Group meets every other month to discuss group business and are typically held at school or a local restaurant with a virtual option. Meetings are open to all and serve as a forum for sharing ideas among Golden Pond School parents and staff.

ST. JUDE TRIKE-A-THON
Help fight childhood cancer at the GPS Trike-A-Thon! Together we can raise awareness about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and meet or surpass our $2k donation goal. Every dollar truly makes a difference in the life of a St. Jude patient. Donations can be made HERE.

ART TO REMEMBER
Our most popular fundraiser each year! Art to Remember provides you with the opportunity to have special artwork, which is completed by your child during art class, reproduced onto a variety of keepsakes and gifts for family and friends. All gifts will be delivered in late December.

HOLIDAY SECRET SHOPPE
Join us for a morning of holiday cheer. Children will have the opportunity to shop for wrapped gifts for their loved ones followed crafts and activities to enjoy after shopping. This is a not to be missed event!! Remaining gifts will be donated to Evan’s Golden Heart Foundation Toy Drive.

A morning of sweet treats for purchase and fun activities for the students.

FAMILY FUN EVENT
GPS Families gather for an afternoon of fun to eat, drink and socialize with students, alumni and adults outside of school. Location and date will be sent privately.

SPRING SING FLOWER SALE
Spring Sing is an annual Golden Pond School tradition where our children perform songs at a local high school. These children shine on stage and this is a great time for both students and parents. The Parent Group will have flowers for sale for parents to give their little performers to congratulate them on a job well done.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
We love our GPS Teachers and Administration! Teacher appreciation events take place throughout the school year to thank our teachers and administrative staff for their hard work and dedication to our children. The events culminate with a week full of special activities every May!

END OF YEAR CELEBRATION
Celebrate the last few days of the school year by congratulating the students, parents, teachers and administration in creative ways for another amazing year at the pond!
